FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - In their last game of the pre-season tour in the United States, the Wolverhampton (Wolves) defeated 3-0 the Bundesliga team RB Leipzig at the Inter Miami home, Chase Stadium on Saturday.
The Wolves wasted no time after the start of the game and got on the scoreboard in 18 minutes of play. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde led a counter-attack and found Matt Doherty on the right for a deep cross to the Spaniard Paolo Sarabia, whose strike deflected off Maarten Vandevoort to the back of the net, putting the team ahead 1-0.
The Old Gold dominated the first half and took the 1-0 to the locker room.
However, Gary O'Neil's men would come out the second half hungrier with the lone substitution of Mario Lemina by Tommy Doyle to start.

In the 62 minutes, the Spaniard found his second goal of the evening off a loose ball that Jorgen Strand Larsen hit on the upright post to extend the lead.
Leipzig could not find a rhythm to create chances for a goal. On the other hand, despite the torrential weather, the Wolves continued to build their game and mounted pressure.
The Old Gold, Rodrigo Gomes, who came off the bench, connected with Hee-Chan Hwang inside Leipzig's box and shredded through the defense with a couple of passes to each other before Gomes finished off the post for the third goal in the 73 minutes.
The Wolves continued their domination to the 90 minutes, and with no extra time, the referee ended the game with Leipzig falling 3-0 to the English Premier League team.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers completed their summer tour on a high performance before their final pre-season friendly game against the La Liga EA Sport side, Rayo Vallecano, on August, Saturday 10.
