Inter Miami CF (5W-13L-3D, 18 points) will get on the action against St. Louis CITY SC (12W-8L-2D, 38 points) on the road in the MLS this Saturday, July 15. It will mark the first encounter between the two clubs in their history. The game will play out at CITY PARK at 8:30 p.m.
Gerardo 'Tata' Martino will take the lead head coach of the team against St. Louis CITY SC for the first time.
Inter Miami's last victory was over a month on May 23, against Nashville FC 2-1 in the U.S. Open Cup.
Under the new coaching direction of Tata, they aim to progress with a win against St. Louis after back-to-back draws in their recent matches against Austin FC and Columbus Crew at home in DRV PNK Stadium, followed by an away game against D.C. United in their last outing.
The match against D.C. United marked a historic moment for the organization as two Academy products, Benjamin Cremaschi, a midfielder, and Noah Allen, a defender, scored their first professional MLS goals in the same game. It also marked the first instance in the Club's history where six Academy products made appearances on the field for Inter Miami.
Against St. Louis tonight, it will be an opportunity for Tata to showcase his coaching strategies and make his mark on the team as he restores confidence in the team moving forward.
The game will play at the CITYPARK Stadium this July 15 at 8:30 p.m.
