This Saturday, July 8, Inter Miami CF (5W-13L-2D, 17 points) will play against D.C. United (8W-9L-5D, 29 points) in D.C. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Audi Field.

Inter Miami will enter the game following two consecutive draws at home, with their most recent match ending in a 2-2 tie against Austin FC.

That game featured the impressive performances of midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi and forwards Leonardo Campana and Josef Martínez, who earned the MLS Team of the Matchday for week 23.

Martínez, in particular, had a memorable evening as he scored on an impressive scissor kick in the closing minutes of regulation, bringing his total MLS regular season goals to 104 and equalling Dwayne De Rosario's record. Martínez is currently Inter Miami's leading scorer this season with six goals.

This Saturday's encounter will mark the second and final meeting between Inter Miami CF and D.C. United in the 2023 regular season. Their previous encounter in June, D.C. United secured a 1-2 victory at DRV PNK Stadium.

D.C. United will host Inter Miami in Washington following their recent 0-1 win on the road against FC Dallas. They are currently standing in the eighth position in the Eastern Conference Standings, with the Belgian strike Christian Benteke leading the charge for D.C. United thus far this season with eight goals and three assists.

The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Audi Field, Washington D.C.
